The story of A Journey of Evolution VTR Industries is one of continuous transformation. Our journey began in 1989, established on the principles of integrity and deep market knowledge in the building materials sector. For nearly three decades, we listened to the market, understanding the critical flaws in traditional wood and plywood—termites, moisture damage, and inconsistency.
Recognizing the need for a permanent solution, we evolved from trading to manufacturing. In 2016, VTR Industries Private Limited was incorporated with a singular vision: to engineer a material that offers the warmth of wood with the invincible durability of polymer.
A pivotal moment arrived in 2018 when we commissioned our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kharagpur, West Bengal. We didn’t just start production; we innovated. VTR was among the pioneers in Eastern India to introduce ‘Color Core’ Technology, eliminating the need for laminates and painting, and revolutionizing how architects perceive PVC boards. Today, we stand as a beacon of quality, recognized nationally as the winner of the India 5000 Best MSME Award 2024.

Under Mr. Gandhi’s leadership, VTR has transitioned into a technology-first company, introducing advanced extrusion processes and digital printing capabilities that set industry benchmarks. His philosophy is simple: “Create products that don’t just build homes, but protect them for generations.”
Mr. Mahendra S. Gandhi – Director The founding pillar of the VTR group. With decades of experience in the timber and plywood trade, his deep understanding of dealer networks and customer needs forms the ethical backbone of our operations.

Located strategically on NH-6 at Rupnarayanpur, Kharagpur, our manufacturing complex is the heart of our operations. This location is not accidental; it serves as a logistical gateway, allowing us to rapidly service distributors across West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and the North East.

Advanced Extrusion Lines: Producing high-density WPC boards (0.60+ g/cc) with uniform core structure and screw-holding strength that rivals hardwood.
Digital Customization Studio: Equipped with UV Flatbed Printers to create our signature Digital Printed Doors, offering wood-grain precision that is indistinguishable from real timber.
Quality Control Lab: Every batch undergoes rigorous testing for density, moisture absorption, and screw withdrawal strength before it leaves our gates.
